Terms and Conditions
Jewellery is sold under the following terms & conditions. By purchasing a piece you agree to abide by these terms.
All jewellery is handmade by Hannah, so please embrace imperfections of organic shapes and textures which is signature to Hannah’s design and style.
Jewellery is fragile. The handmade items are priced fairly to reflect the work that has been put in to create them. Each piece of jewellery is handmade each time and as such, are works of art. Just like the earth, yourselves and others around you, please treat them kindly and care for them to help them remain long lasting. Do not expect Gold Vermeil to never wear off over time, especially if the item is worn daily. Hannah is always happy to gold vermeil your jewellery again for the lowest fee possible and repair any damages for a reasonable fee.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping is free in the UK. All deliveries will be shipped using Royal Mail Special delivery at no extra charge. Orders will usually be shipped within 4 weeks of placing your order. If you do need a piece in a hurry please email firstname.lastname@example.org and she will try her best to accommodate your request.
Returns and refunds are generally not accepted, however on standard pieces you may request an exchange of the same amount or higher within 14 days of purchase if unworn and returned in brand new condition and in original packaging. This is only by agreement with Hannah. Any jewellery that has been personalised cannot be returned or exchanged.
Bespoke Terms and Conditions
Bespoke work (anything made specially or altered from the main collection) is non-returnable and non-refundable due to its unique design for the customer unless faulty. Bespoke commissions normally take 4-8 weeks and require a 50% deposit before any making of the jewellery begins; the rest can be paid on completion of the piece. If the customer would like to own the design so it can never be reproduced this will be an additional fee to the jewellery itself.
Cimplimentary Ring Resize
Because we understand how difficult it can be to get a ring size correct the first time, we offer the first resize free of charge, but with additional postage fee to be made. It is worth the time and effort for Hannah and yourself to get your ring size checked at a local jewellery store.
Silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. When not wearing, store your jewellery separately so that it doesn’t get scratched or tangled. It is recommended to store your jewellery out of strong sunlight either in its original packaging or in the handmade Hannah Bourn linen jewellery pouch.
It is not recommended that you wear your jewellery when participating in sports, sleeping or swimming. Ensure that your jewellery is kept clean and free from creams, lotions, oils, perfumes and make-up. Solvents, bleaches, household chemicals and cleaning products can tarnish silver. Some skin types can make the silver go black - this is only surface discolouration and can easily be removed with a soft, clean cloth.
Your personal details will strictly only be used for contacting you, to fulfil your order and for legal reasons only. All reasonable efforts to ensure that information is stored securely both in electronic and physical form. Any information that is no longer required is destroyed.
